Buyers please be careful who you buy from.
AKC papers are the only papers Tibetan Terriers have, any other organization are nothing more than a puppy mill buying some papers that mean nothing.
If a breeder breeds more than one breed, especially those that breed several breeds, they are a puppy mill.
If they do not have a web site, be careful of them too. Though today it is easy to build a web site for each breed one breeds, making it harder to pick out puppy mills. When on puppy for sale sites, check to see if they have other breeds advertised. You will often see other breeds that they are selling. One BIG red flag is the price. You will see some Tibetans priced really low. THESE ARE PUPPY MILLS. A true breeder has a lot of time and money into their dogs and puppies. Our dogs do not live in tiny cages, but all have big play areas. They are born and raised in the house. Socialized, healthy, pedigrees, parentage, health history are known by true breeders. They know the history of the breed, can take you way back to the beginning of the breed outside of Tibet. A true breeder will want to talk to you on the phone, find out more about you and the home you will be providing. They welcome you to their home too. They will have guarantees, contracts. They will have pictures of their show dogs, testimonials from real buyers with pictures of their dogs they bought. They will have updated pictures of their puppies too.
I have had some of my puppy pictures used by scammers so make sure you can talk with the breeder and do not depend on emails only.
My puppies are not sold for breeding. If you want to show, full registration will be given
IF I AM SELLING THEM AS A SHOW PROSPECT. Because of recent people who have purchased dogs from me on limited registration and have managed to breed their dogs will full registration, I do not give out AKC papers anymore if they are being bought for pets. I can show you the papers of the parents to prove they are AKC registered.
We take deposits to hold a puppy for you, but all deposits are non-refundable as we are turning away potential buyers.
ALL OF MY BREEDING STOCK ARE CHECK FOR HEREDITARY PROBLEMS.. I DO NOT BREED ANY DOG WHO HAS A PROBLEM. I ALSO GUARANTEE FOR TWO YEARS, ANY PUPPY SOLD TO BE FREE OF HIP AND EYE HEREDITARY PROBLEMS.
